Heidi Montag Has No Regrets About Plastic Surgery

It's been 11 weeks since her life-changing plastic surgery, but Heidi Montag is still very much healing. Physically, emotionally and mentally.

According to Heidi's sister, Holly, there has been a lot of criticism about her 10 back to back plastic surgery makeovers and according to Holly, it's been hard for Heidi to handle all the negative response.

Holly reported "She's being very strong and holding to her own morals and I'm very proud of her."  She went on: "She's the strongest woman I know. She's done a brilliant job."  Holly also said her sister is still adjusting to her new body.

"She was still just getting used to it and it's a long recovery time. It's several months," she said.  "She's being a trooper about the whole thing."

Meanwhile Heidi told PEOPLE "I'm very fragile."  Heidi said "I'm not in a great lace right now."  Part of Heidi's ongoing issues have been due to a stressful trip back home to Crested Butte, Colorado to deal with her mother who has been outwardly disapproving of Heidi's new look.

"I was hysterical the whole time," she says of the trip. "It was so hurtful. My body really set back from recovering from all the crying, stress and that traumatic experience."

Heidi said about her trip home "my insides were just throbbing and pounding but I know it's part of what I had to go through."

Despite all the criticism, issues with her mom and physical pain, Heidi has been emphatic about the fact she has no regrets. "I'm thrilled," she says. "I'm the happiest I've ever been in my life."

Daily Hair Tip
Always detangle wet hair with a good quality hair pick or wide toothed comb. Make sure that the pick or comb's "teeth" are smooth to prevent snagging or ripping delicate wet hair.
