Paris Hilton was recently a guest on the Ellen Degeneres daytime talk show.

Paris has been a regular visitor to Ellen's show and last year she was Hot Toddy, dancing the Christmas character for Ellen's 12 Days Of Christmas giveaways.

Ellen introduced the socialite "like me, blonde, sexy and loves to go clubbing."

Ellen who has said that she and Paris are "BFFs" told the reality TV star "I can't imagine you in a bad mood. When you walk you bounce."

Paris, who acknowledged she had a little bounce to her step was wearing a very cut short white dress with black accents, black tights and black Channel open finger gloves.

Trademark White Blonde Hairstyle

Her trademark white blonde hair with precision placed lowlights in a slightly darker blonde was wearing her hair swept back and up off her face in a mini half up/half down soft wavy hairstyle.

The top of her hairstyle near the hairline had a slight hair bump. The remainder of her hair was cascading down around her face falling several inches below her shoulders, almost to her waist when she was sitting and chatting with Ellen.

Her half up/half down hairline bump hairstyle really suited her face shape and showcased her perfectly made up eyes, lips and skin. Ellen told Paris she looked "adorable" and indeed she did.

Paris Hilton Always In A Good Mood?

Ellen wanted to know if Paris was always in a good mood and always happy or if she ever gets down? The reality star told the talk show hostess "I'm usually always happy but I'm a human being so sometimes I'm sad, but I'm a human being.

Paris has been less visible in the media lately. Is she losing her popularity or just slowing down after years of whirlwind projects including her own line of instant add-on hair. Of course she also did her Paris Hilton BFF reality show and has been busy dating Doug Rheinhardt.

has been making the rounds on the various talk shows and I caught her on Ellen where she appeared in a stunning sassy short knit dress.

To copy Paris' half up/half down hairline bump wavy hairstyle follow the simple steps listed below:

1. Start with either freshly cleansed and completely dry hair or with day old hair with a cream or spray designed to help with the creation of soft hair waves. If you shampoo your hair before styling be sure to use products for your hair type, texture and condition. 2. If you wish to copy Paris' look completely create a side part on the right side of the hairline. You can also copy this look with a fringe or side part although it will not look exactly the same. 3. Separate hair into two-inch sections. Clip all hair other hair out of the way. 4. On each section, spritz styling spray or apply cream, starting just below the root area. After prepping hair with spray or similar, wrap around a medium barrel curling iron for a few seconds to avoid burning or damaging strands. 5. After creating the curl and removing the iron, re-roll curl around fingers to recreate the curl. Pin to the scalp. 6. When all the sections of hair have been completely ironed, reformed and pinned, spritz the entire head lightly with a setting or styling spray. 7. When hair is completely dry and cool, unpin each curl. 8. Separate a 2-4 inch section of hair, depending on your preferences, from the right side part off the hairline. Lift the section and backcomb it to the desired "bump" height. Spray well and then smooth back and over to the opposite side of the head from the part. Optionally you my apply a few bobby pins in the same on contrasting color of the hair to hold the bump in place. 9. Comb through the remaining hair with your fingers. Use fingers to arrange hair into sexy waves just like Paris. 10. For Paris' brilliant shine add a few drops of shine serum, spray or shine enhancing hairspray to the palms of your hands and then wipe lightly over the top of your tresses.

Note: If the waves are too well formed use a 100% boar bristle brush to break up the waves a bit and make them softer. Remember that the smaller the curling iron barrel, the tighter the resulting curls and waves.

This hairstyle is gorgeous and can be worn for any Holiday or Party Hair event ranging from a formal or semi-formal dinner or a special formal dance or Prom.

This is a classic hairstyle which never goes out of style. To amp up the look even more add a bejewelled hairpin clip on one side of the hairline.

Summary

Paris Hilton is a very busy reality TV star. Besides launching a line of add-on hair, she has launched a new perfume called "Siren", a line of sunglasses and a hot hair toolkit called The Celebrity Stylist. Don't expect Paris to be quiet for long.

Paris revealed to Ellen that Siren is her newest perfume but it's her ninth fragrance. She said Siren had a "mermaid feel" to it and it comes with a little attached necklace. She said there are seven women's and two men's perfumes.

Ironically Ellen and Paris played a game called Ponytail Or Mall Ponytail. The game involved three models wearing ponytails and the goal was to decide if the pony was real hair or a "fake" attachemt.

When the first model's fake ponytail was pulled off Paris said "and this is not from my hair product line. We make them and they look real."

What's next for Paris? Only time will tell but there is no doubt she will be busy.

Daily Hair Tip
A humectant hair product attracts moisture to the hair while an anti-humectant repels moisture. Use a humectant to combat static electricity and an anti-humectant to deal with humidity.
