Celeb Hairdresser Ken Paves - Eva Longoria's Golden Globe Hair

Eva Longoria looked absolutely spectacular on the Red Carpet at the recent 2009 Golden Globes.

The fashion police drooled over Eva's red mermaid gown which she paired with a very sleek chignon expertly coiffed by her longtime celebrity hairdresser Ken Paves.  E! named Eva "Best Dressed" on The Red Carpet.

Ken Paves - Celeb Hairdresser Who Coiffed Eva's Chignon

Although I was positive Eva's hair had Ken's hairdressing signature all over it, I wanted to ask him if he had created The Desperate Housewife's hair before writing about it in my blog.

Indeed, he told me, as he was rushing to catch a flight (which he is always doing) he had indeed been the creative force behind Eva's gorgeous sleek, pulled-back hairstyle. The hairstyle Ken created for Eva was the perfect Red Carpet style for her amazing gown.

Ken always designs Eva's hairstyles around her outfit or gown.  He also uses all of his Ken Paves Healthy Hair products on Eva's hair, including his amazing Color Drops to amp up her dark chocolate tresses.

Steal Eva Longoria's Golden Globe Bun

How did Ken create Eva's stunning bun? Follow the steps below:

1.  Eva's hair was washed using Ken's Healthy Hair shampoo followed by Ken's Healthy Hair mixed with a few drops of Ken's Healthy Hair conditioner

2.  After a final cool water rinse Eva's hair was towel blotted dry.

3.  Ken blow dried Eva's hair using a Ken's Boost Up color in glossy Black. and a blow dryer.

4.  After Eva's hair was 100% dry Ken brushed it back towards the back of her head and pulled it into a sleek bun.

5.  The base of the bun was secured with a "hair friendly" elastic like a boar bristle brush or similar.

6.  After Ken finished fashioning Eva's bun he pinned it securely with bobby pins the same color as her hair.

7.  He finished her gorgeous chignon by applying a few drops of Ken Paves Healthy Hair Shine Serum
