Scarlett Johansson Better As Brunette Or Blonde

Actress Scarlett Johansson has had a very busy past few months.  In September of 2008 Scarlett and Ryan Reynolds tied the knot in a surprise wedding ceremony.

Known for her intense privacy about anything personal, Scarlett and Ryan got married away from the Hollywood madness in Reynolds' native Canada, at a wilderness resort near Vancouver.

Although the actress' representative confirmed the marriage of the two stars to the AP, they did not confirm any additional details.

To this date, little is known about the marriage.   Guests reportedly included members of Scarlett's family including her mother Melanie Sloan and her brother Adrian Johansson.

Even though it was commonly known that Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett were officially engaged, there actual wedding came as a surprise.

Also surprising was Scarlett new Red Carpet hair color and sleek hair style for "He’s Just Not That Into You” also known as HJNTIY.

Scarlett ditched her famous light blonde tresses she showcased in Woody Allen's Vicky Christina Barcelona (shown to the side) to a dark auburn kissed hair color which was worn stick straight and worn with an off-center part.

Scarlett's hair was completely brushed off her face and her makeup was completely different then her trademark red lips when she was a blonde.

Although this is not the first time Scarlett went brunette, she is most famous as a blonde with lots of texture.  Scarlett was actually a brunette in 2001 and 2002 which was earlier in her career.  She was also brunette in 2006 for the Nanny Diaries.

The question now is why did Scarlett go brunette?  Was it because she wants to look more mature and serious now that she's married?

Or is she brunette because she has a new film role which requires her to be brunette?  With Scarlett there is no easy answer.

Scarlett does not discuss her personal life with the press, saying "it's nice to have everybody not know your business." This has not stopped the normally blonde actress from sharing "select" opinions and personal details.  She has a twin brother by the name of Hunter and they are very close.

Scarlett was born on the cusp of very secretive Scorpio and aloof Sagitarrius.  She gets extremely upset if she is misquoted by the media.
