The Donald Defends Khloe Kardashian Firing

As I reported after the last Celebrity Apprentice The Donald fired Khloe Kardashian telling her the reason was basically because she had a prior DUI that he had not been aware she had.  The Donald also told Khloe on camera that if he'd known she had to be absent from one of the contests because of dealing with the DUI, he would never have allowed her to be on the show in the first place.

Considering Donald's past public sins including his very public affair with Marla Maples and acrimonious divorce from Ivana, many fans of The Celebrity Apprentice are finding The Donald's firing of Khloe to be hypocritical.

Many fans of Khloe and the Celeb Apprentice show are outraged and threatening to boycott the Celeb Apprentice show completely as a result.  They are also bringing up the fact that Donald publicly forgave Miss USA Tara Connor after her problems with booze were exposed!  He also let her keep her crown.

The Donald has defended himself in his own blog and addressed comments about how he was lax with Tara but tough on Khloe.  He said 'that Tara "had just entered celebrity, which was a new arena for her, and these contestants (referring to Khloe) have already had professional success as well as celebrity."

Only time will tell whether or not the fans will forgive The Donald for firing Khloe and whether or not they're return to the show.
