Ashley Judd has been keeping a low profile these days, at least on the Red Carpets.  She re-surfaced on November 10, 2009 for an event honoring her.

Ashley told USA Today reporter Ann Oldenburg "I'm trying to convince myself to get over the dream of straight A's. Nobody cares. But I still have that undergraduate aggressive pride."

She continued "I got a check last week instead of a check plus and I was really not pleased."

Ashley also said her interaction with her fellow Kennedy School students was "bumpy at first." "I'm really not a big deal," she said, "but apparently they didn't get the memo."

Ashley the grad student returned to the Red Carpet in a big way with hairstyle.  Her trademark chocolate brown hair was brushed up and off her gorgeous face and pulled tightly back towards the crown.

The crown was an explosion of barrel curls which were strategically placed to hug the top of her head and cascade down towards the middle of her head.
