Chris Henry's Pre-Wedding Angst May Have Contributed To His Death

Anyone who has ever gotten married understands the stress and strains that accompany the blessed event.  Although the brides are often the famous for suffering from bridezilla attacks, the grooms may have their own share of worries including the costs associated with the nuptials.

The NYDailyNews has reported new details regarding 26 year old Henry's impending marriage which may have escalated into a full blown "domestic dispute" ultimately ending in his untimely, tragic and sad death.

TMZ reports that the very day before his sudden death from a fall from a moving pickup truck the Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver and fiancée met with a wedding planner, who reported Henry was "annoyed" and "aggravated" by the cost of his nuptials.

The engaged couple were discussing photography pricing in the planner's office in North Carolina. The company's rep told TMZ Henry got upset over the bill and, "with an attitude," asked his fiancée, "How much we paying for all this?"

According to TMZ, the couple "bickered" with Henry walking out of the store, leaving his future bride, Tonga, to ultimately decide, fill out the paperwork and pay the deposit.

After taking care of the photography Henry's fiancée started to drive off after a fight with the notoriously volatile football player.   Henry was cut from the Bengals in April 2008 after getting arrested five times in 28 months. He was arrested on charges of drug possession, assault and drunken driving and was suspended several times for violating the NFL's conduct policy. The Bengals decided to give him another chance before the 2008 season started.

As she drove off from the meeting with the photographer Henry jumped on the back of the pickup, according to Charlotte, NC police.

Chris Henry was reportedly thrown off the back of the moving pickup truck and was found lying in the street just half a mile from his home.  Police say a North Carolina hospital pronounced him dead the next morning at 6:36 a.m.

Henry was not in Cincinnati with the rest of his NFL team because he was on injured reserve at the time, having suffered a broken left forearm during a game on Nov. 8.

The Cinncinnati team along with Chris Henry's fans are shocked and incredibly saddened by this unfortunate turn of events.
