Looking truly gorgeous in a one shoulder blush hued gown with her blonde hair slicked back into a type of inverted French Twist, Drew Barrymore won a Golden Globe for her performance in HBO's mini-series "Grey Gardens"
As soon as she won she kissed her escort, actor Justin Long. Jessica Lange, who was sitting at her table was shown on camera looking on at Drew.

Drew, who is a hit and miss at times on the Red Carpet made a spectacular entrance in a breathtakingly beautiful beaded, nude one-shouldered gown by Atelier Versace. Intricate sparkling crystal shoulder and hip embellishments added a unique touch. She carried a stunning gold Roger Vivier clutch and finished her look with sparkling diamond earrings.
Drew carried a clutch. She kept the hair and beauty look relatively simple - anything too complicated would have been confusing with such an over-the-top gown.
When a prior award was given to Drew she had gone with Jessica onstage and stood in the background.
Once she got onto the stage she seemed flustered and almost in tears. She said to the audience "oh goodness. I'm. OK. I can do this." From there she proceeded to ramble since she apparently did not prepare a speech and just went with the flow of her emotions and her heart.
She started by saying " Michael I'm so sorry, I got so nervous that I didn't know the etiquette of coming up here when you win these awards because I'm don't know."
She gave a nervous laugh "And yet I've been meeting with The Hollywood Foreign Press for like 97 years and I've been in this room since I was seven years old and uh" she stammered but continued "and I just, I think. Michael thank you for giving me this chance. Monique you set the bar this evening in your speech. You said everything that so many people feel. You're the most eloquent, beautiful human being. And if I can convey that and..." She touched her hand to her forehead and continued "oh god, I'm not very good at this. I want to thank you Michael for taking a chance on me because I knew I could be like Jeff Spagoli's girlfriend, but like with the lisp and the paralysis."
She searched for words and said "There's no way you could've. Thank you for taking the chance on me. And Liz Hammelstein who taught me the voice, I mean, there's no way I could be that. But I wanted to so very much and I know with what is going on in the world today what is important."
Drew said "and as I get older I thank everyone in this room because this is my family. And I have grown up here. And I would like to say that this is for all the people who have been nice enough to love me and wish the best for me along the way. And I hope that I can be a good person. So this is for those people. She listed some people, including Chris Miller and said "thank you for guiding me in the right direction. I would like to rise to your ocasion and your guidance and I love you. Thank you. I am humbled and honored. Thank you."
Backstage, she was asked how her character Edie celebrate? I'll dance around tonight by myself and freak out," reports USA TODAY's Donna Freydkin.
And speaking of love Justin Long. Even through all the rambling, Drew did not thank her sometime co-star and long time friend and love. Oh well. It happens.
