Julianna Margulies At 2010 SAG Awards Tells Audience Parents Not Proud Of Snakes On A Plane

Julianna Margulies was wearing her long naturally curly brunette hair down in lush waves which offset her gorgeous velvet one shoulder gown by Narciso Rodriquez, the same designer she wore at the recent Golden Globes.

Her accessories were by Cartier and Fred Leighton.  When her name was called by co-presenters Felicity Huffman and Alec Baldwin, she leaned over and kissed her husband who was sitting right next to her at the table.

As she walked to the podium to accept her award the announcer stated that this was the 7th SAG win for Julianna and the first for "The Good Wife".  She won six times previously for "ER".

In her acceptance speech the lovely brunette actress said "Thank you so much to the Screen Actors Guild this is such an honor.  I wouldn't be standing here if it weren't for my brilliant writers.  Michelle and Robert King it is a privilege to play this role.  And it just gets better.  You always think TV's so difficult because the pilot, they had a year to write it and then every episode they only have a week."

Se continued "But you get better and better with every episode and I'm just thrilled to play this role.  And to Christine Baranski and Josh Charles, Archie Panjabi, Matt Czuchry, Chris Noth, Makenzie Vega, Graham Philips, oh god am I missing anyone?  I hope not.  Josh Charles did I say him you guys?"

Julianna said "I share this all with you and to my parents.  I just have to say my mother and father call me after every single episode And they've been so supportive of me and have such interest in my life and every role I take except "Snakes On A Plane" they weren't so proud of that one.  But they're proud of this one and I really appreciate your interest.  Thank you so much."
