Jeff And Jordan Compete On The Amazing Race On February 14th

Not since Trista and Ryan (The Bachelorette on ABC) have I been so psyched about a reality TV couple.

The couple in question is Jeff Schroeder and Jordan Lloyd.  Not only are they my other favorite reality TV couple, but I became huge fans of theirs the very first time I ever watched Big Brother (CBS) last season.

Jeff and Jordan, who grabbed my attention from the beginning, were so fascinating to watch I even signed up for the Real TV 24 hour feeds.  Yes, I have a compulsive personality, but no surprise there.  Right?

Imagine how thrilled I was when I learned Jeff and Jordan are going to be on the Amazing Race together.  How cool is that?  And no, I have never watched the Amazing Race even though my sidekick Edan Kencayd has been bugging me to apply for over a year.  The two of us together travel all the time for Hairboutique.com business and when we do, crazy things always happen.

Don't believe me?  Well there was the time we were flying to a huge hair conference and a woman starting punching me on the plane while I was minding my own business.  Then a guy sitting next to Edan stomped on her foot causing blood to gush and shortly after a baby threw up on her head.  That all happened before the plane even landed in Palm Springs where we were told the only rental car left was a gignormous Lincoln Town Car frequently used as a limo.

There was also the time, also on HairBoutique.com business, when a dog attacked me at a Starbucks in San Antonio, Edan got locked out in a walled off restaurant courtyard in a downpour in Las Vegas and a homeless person attacked our rental car in Los Angeles.  Never mind the bed bugs we encountered, the circling for hours in Miami trying to find our Budget Rental Car return or the hotel in Palm Springs at the height of summer with no air conditioning.

Of course an attack dog, crazy airline passengers and hallucinating homeless people are mild compared to what the teams on "Amazing Race" experience.  Which is why I tell Edan not to even think about applying for the show.

Anyway, Jordan and her boyfriend Jeff will make up one of the 11 teams racing almost 40,000 miles on the 16th edition of the show, which premieres February 14th (tomorrow night) starting at 8 p.m. EST/7 p.m. CST on CBS.

Departing from Los Angeles, the teams will have to make their way on public transportation to LAX, where they'll hop a flight to their first destination, Chile, where they'll face one of the most daunting Roadblocks in the show's history, according to a CBS press release.

And of course I am rooting for Jeff and Jordan.  I am sure I'll be addicted to the show before it's all over.  So set your Tivos, Direct TVs or similar DVRs so you don't miss a moment of Jeff and Jordan.
