I'm a Demi Moore fan from way back. I loved her as Nicole 'Nikki' Hollis in Blame It On Rio in 1984. I thought her hair was amazing even back then.
Rio was even before her other iconic roles or before she married heartthrob Bruce Willis and shocked the world posing nude while pregnant on Vanity Fair.

Through the years Demi has hit the acting ball out of the park with a wide range of starring roles including the famous Ghost, A Few Good Men and of course G.I. Jane.
I personally never understood why Jane didn't do well at the box office, but I actually watch it about once a year.
Of course Demi's scene where she actually shaved her hair off makes the film iconic. Yes, according to reports she really did shave all of her hair off to make it authentic. It was a shocking scene at the time. Now it wouldn't be as shocking in light of Britney Spears' famous head shaving a few years ago.
Demi Is Brilliant In The Joneses
Demi's latest movie which just opened is called "The Joneses" which movie critic Rex Reed describes as "a cross between alternate-universe dynamics and a reality TV show, with relevant things to say-about the vulgarity of possessions filling the hole where self-value should be, especially in a recession-and compelling performances to say them with."
Rex also said the film is "surprising, inventive and crisply, merrily written and directed by Derrick Borte, The Joneses is a brisk, captivating entertainment. Think Ozzie and Harriet on speed."
I couldn't have said it better myself. Demi Moore indeed is delightful as the gorgeous Kate Jones who is married to Steve played with panache by David Duchovny.
Amber Heard is the luscious teen daughter. Except of course there is a major twist to the family including a teen aged son played by Ben Hollingsworth.
There are also great supporting turns from Lauren Hutton, Gary Cole and Glenn Headly. The film is great entertainment and it has an uncanny ring of truth to the plot.
It's great to see Demi, who recently made headlines with a trip to Haiti, achieve ongoing success with her acting roles. Lucky for all of us diehard fans, she has a few more films in production for the future.
