Glee's Jenna Ushkowitz And Kevin McHale Water Play

Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina Cohen-Chang) and Kevin McHale (Artie Abrams) of Glee grabbed recent media attention with their sassy water play in Monaco on the beach.

The reason for their appearance in Monaco, besides having some beach time, is the recent presence of the Glee cast at the Monte Carlo film festival.

Jenna, showed off her curves in a blue and white striped bikini while Kevin displayed his toned torso. Photos of the Glee couple showed them laughing, playing together in the water and obviously having an amazing time.

The couple who are officially dating on the popular Fox show have not said whether their onscreen romance has translated to an off-screen connection.  The media tagged their beach time as "flirting", but looks can always be deceiving.

Were Jenna and Kevin (who's originally from Plano, Texas near where I live) just relaxing after a grueling season of never ending performances and filming?  Or was there truly something more to their time splashing together?

As a card carrying Gleek, I can tell you the couple are very sweet together onscreen.  Although their show relationship is progressing slowly with sweet kisses and some innocent affection, it appears they have the potential for a long and interesting upcoming story lines.

Artie Abrams is the only member of the cast in a wheelchair, but the show has gone out of it's way to write his storyline so that he is well integrated into the overall Glee team.  In one previous episode the entire cast performed in wheelchairs to show solidarity for Artie.

Tina is known for her Goth character having recently had a controversy with the school's principle who demanded she dump her signature dark look.

Yes, the Glee club responded to Tina's crisis with a performance and in the end she reclaims her Punk Princess mantle.

Who doesn't love a great love story?  Although Kevin McHale is not in a wheelchair off-screen, his Artie character is incredibly believable and offers new insight and hope for  love between any unlikely couple regardless of challenges of any kind.

Whether Tina and Artie were being naughty or nice in Monaco is beside the point.  It's great to see some of the Glee cast having some down time after an amazing season.

If they're really an off-screen couple - then kudos to them for finding love.  Of if they're just best friends sharing downtime, that's pretty great as well.

Kevin is a cutie and Tina has amazing silky raven strands with the potential for amazing hairstyles for all us hair freaks to watch as she evolves as a breakout star of the show.

I'm happy.  What about you?
