Fantastic Sams Keeps Locks Looking Fab For Summer

Summer is such a fun time of year but keeping your locks looking fabulous during long days at the beach and nights out on the town may not always seem like a breeze.

The long haul - During the hot days of summer, the ponytail will reign, but your average run of the mill pony tail will not do! Fullness at the back crown area to create volume will update the ponytail this season.

Braids will also be popular on longer manes. Whether the braid is worn off to one side, low at the nape area, a French braid or traditional 3 strand braid, women will remain cool with this look. For those wanting to wear their hair down, soft flowing waves will be the popular look.

Hair accessories for long hair, like headbands, will be all the rage. Brush all the hair off the face, secure a head band on the top front of the head, and then pump up the volume behind the headband. Try using Fantastic Sams fantasticfinishTM finishing spray to complete the look.

Middle of the road - If you're hair is shoulder length, soft curls and waves will help create a beachy look for summer hair. If you want to add texture and volume, try fantastictextureTM TMP wave. This temporary wave will add just the right amount of curl and body and can last up to 20 shampoos. Great for those vacation days when you don't want to fuss with your hair!

One look that is sure to keep you cool is a simple updo. Tuck and pin the neck area of the hair up to the nape to create a shorter version of your hairstyle. Tousle the sides and top for separation and texture and off you go for summer

The Short Stop - Short hair is easier to maintain during the summer months, it does require more frequent haircuts to keep the style looking great. For short hair, this summer is all about texture and lots of layers! A sleek look during the daytime can be accomplished with a little fantasticstyleTM firm hold gel and then kick it up a notch at nighttime by spiking it out with fantasticstyleTM molding mud to create an edgy look.
