ABC's Dancing With The Stars partners Brandy and Maksim Chmerkovskiy were the first out the gate last night (11/15/10) to perform a very passionate, if not violent, Pasodoble.
Brandy wore her hair with a medium sized bump along the hairline with the rest of her tresses cascading down over her shoulders onto her back. She looked gorgeous and confident as she danced.
Judge Bruno Tonioli quipped that he was going to scream "stop, stop, stop somebody's going to get hurt. Talk about anger. You need to go to anger management. I tell you, you definitely released all the aggression. You danced like a fury." Carrie Ann Inaba commented on the passion displayed during the dance.
Brooke Burke also commented that Brandy and Maks gave a pretty dramatic performance and asked Brandy the story behind the choreography. Brandy said "yes, we dedicate our pasodoble to anybody that's ever been bullied in their life and it was just about the person that's been bullied coming into their own and just shining and being a firework."
Brandy and Maks were rewarded with their passionate dance with three 9s from the judge to open up the show with a combined total of 27 points. This was significant because the popular dance competition is down to the wire. Only four couples remain in the semi-finals and only three couples will actually compete for the famous mirror ball trophy.
Tonight (Tuesday, November 16, 2010) will bring the results and one couple will be left behind. Check out the show on ABC or visit ABC.com to watch any missed episodes.
