Kate Winslet's New Hairstyle Is Cropped, Platinum And Extremely Short

As reported today by People Magazine Academy Award winning Kate Winslet appears on the cover of the April 2011 issue of British Vogue with a shocking new hairstyle.

Her trademark long tresses have been chopped off into a new uber short crop.  Not only is Kate's hair super short and choppy, it's a very white platinum blonde.

Kate Winslet has joined the short hair celebrity brigade which now includes Carey Mulligan, Ashlee Simpson, Katherine McPhee, Ginnifer Goodwin, Michelle Williams, Halle Berry and Emma Watson.

Even more revealing then her drastic hair cut is her interview about her life after divorce from director Sam Mendes.  The British born actress who won the Academy Award in 2009 has temporarily moved to Paris to shoot Roman Polanski's God of Carnage.

The 35 year old actress has made peace with her body which came under criticism in the past for being too curvy.  Besides acting she's buy with her two children and beginning a new chapter in her life.
