Platinum Blonde Ashlee Simpson Spotted With Craig Owens As Reported By Perez Hilton

Perez Hilton reported that Ashlee Simpson, who is in the news for her recent divorce filing from Pete Wentz, has a new fellow.  According to Perez, Ashlee, sources reported, was out shopping and "holding hands" with Craig Owens, former frontman of Chiodos.

Besides her pending divorce, potential custody battle and alleged new guy, Ashlee also made news for going with a super short chop which she took to a white, white blonde hue.  Ashlee has become well-known for being a leader in establishing new hair trends.

Ironically superstar Kate Winslett recently had a major chop like Ashlee and Kate's hair is now as white blonde as Ashlee's.  Kate appears on the current cover of British Vogue with her super short haircut and white blonde strands.

Perez reported the couple was spotted headed to the Beverly Center for a little quality time.  According to an insides “They were holding hands in the elevator and a lot of the time he had his arm around her. They even kissed each other on the lips. It was obvious that they were a couple.”

Who is Craig Owens?  Perez pointed out that Craig is actually a good friend of Pete's.  His new band, D.R.U.G.S., just released its first album on Decaydance - Pete’s record label!

Other related news has indicated that Pete Wentz is planning a custody battle over son Bronx he had with Ashlee.

Perez, who refer to Ashlee as "Yoko Ashlee" noted that if Ashlee is having a new relationship with Owens it could complicate her relationship with her soon to be ex husband, the custody battle over Bronx and even her fan base since so many are very loyal to the The Fall Out Boy.
