Banishing Bad Hair Days since 1997!™

Latest Hair Brush Technologies

Hair brushes have come a long way over the years.   While brushes were originally designed to simply detangle and distribute oils throughout the length of the strands, they are now a very important styling tool when combined with a blow dryer.

Some of the latest brush technologies include tourmaline and ceramic titanium materials.  Conair, one of the pioneers in the hair brush industry has developed an amazing array of stellar styling brushes.

One of my favorite styling brushes is the Conair Titanium Thermal Round Brush.  This brush was specifically developed and designed for blow dry styling.  It has special vents built into the barrel of the brush.  The vents allow airflow from the dryer to reach the hair for faster drying and styling.   The less time the heat spends on the hair the less risk of damage to delicate tresses.

The large thermal round brush helps create  soft waves or curls while it also smooths and straightens coarse, curly or wavy hair.  The vents and the round design also helps add body and fullness.

Tourmaline • Ceramic Titanium • Technology

The Tourmaline utilizes 100% crushed gemstones which release natural Ions to impart intense shine into strands.

The Titanium allows the brush to easily glide through hair to eliminate any snarls or snags.  The ceramic-coated rim of the brush smooths hair and leaves it shimmering and shiny.

Ions help to flatten the hair's cuticle layer to seal in natural oils and increase shine.  The combination of the blow-dryer  will increase the benefits of the Tourmaline, Ionic and Ceramic Technology.
