Hilary Duff Takes On New Starring Role

Actress Hilary Duff, who gained fame as TV's Lizzy McGuire, recently celebrated her one year wedding anniversary to NHL-player Mike Comrie, 30.  The actress just announced her latest starring role as a mommy-to-be.  The couple married on August 14, 2010 in Santa Barbara, California.

Duff and Comrie announced that she is pregnant on their official website.

Duff posted "We also want to share the exciting news that… BABY MAKES THREE," she wrote. "We are extremely happy and ready to start this new chapter of our lives."

Duff is a platinum-selling singer-actress.  Comrie is currently a free agent after spending last year with the NHL's Pittsburgh Penguins.

A celebrity who is either suspected as pregnant or who confirms it via the media is instantly thrust into a frenzy of media watching including mommy bloggers as well as celebrity watchers.

Hilary will most likely find she is definitely in a new starring role as both a newly pregnant celeb and as a future celebrity mother. Congratulations to Hilary and Mike.
