Los Angeles, September 2, 2011- In the cutthroat world of fashion, the month of September is the make or break time of the year when the hottest designers unveil their new collections for the world to see known as New York’s Fashion Week.

This September, E!’s hit series “Fashion Police” will present three special episodes dedicated to all the glitz, glamor and backstage chaos of this yearly couture tradition when “Fashion Police: The September Issue”kicks off Friday, September 2nd, followed by September 9th and 16th at 10:30pm ET/PT only on E!

In the episodes, “Fashion Police” hosts Joan Rivers, Kelly Osbourne, Giuliana Rancic and George Kotsiopoulos will each invade New York with special segments exclusively from Fashion Week.

Fans will get a front row seat to the most sought-after couture shows, hear interviews from some of the world’s most fabulous designers as they discuss their favorite looks of the season and give us their insights on what looks will end up on the Emmy® red carpet.

In “Fashion Police,” Joan Rivers brings her notorious and no-holds-barred celebrity fashion and pop culture commentary to E!’s popular franchise Fashion Police.

Joan is joined each week by an outspoken panel of fashionistas, including international “It Girl” Kelly Osbourne, E! and Style Network star Giuliana Rancic and celebrity stylist George Kotsiopoulos.

Together this Fab Four of Fashion guide viewers through the week’s most high-profile celebrity happenings. Fueled by the most topical and talked about pop culture news, red carpet clips from A-list events and shocking fashion faux pas moments from around the globe, Fashion Police is putting tacky celebrity fashion on lockdown.

Friday, September 2nd

The countdown to Fashion Week begins as fashionista Kelly Osbourne recreates Sarah Jessica Parker’s exquisite editorial look seen in the pages of Marie Claire magazine. Miss O samples all the latest couture clothes, shoes and jewelry while giving viewers a first hand look at all the clothes in the magazine’s showroom. In studio, on display will be designer Marc Jacobs latest fashion masterpieces.

Also, the hosts are joined by Marie Claire senior fashion editor Zanna Roberts, who will reveal secrets from the Sarah Jessica Parker cover shoot. Model and fashion icon, Amber Rose will also be featured as a special guest. Rose will bring her own approach to critiquing celebrity style and recapping the looks from the week.

Friday, September 9th

Fashion Police goes on location to all the star-studded parties for Fashion’s Night Out. Join George from NY as he chats with Heidi Klum, Kelly from Chicago and Giuliana from Las Vegas as they break down each event and give exclusive details of the VIP guest lists including the night’s hottest fashions and which designers threads stood out from the crowd.

In addition, “Project Runway” judge and Marie Claire Fashion Director Nina Garcia joins the hosts in studio to have a ‘first look’ at award show fashions including an Emmy® runway preview with models highlighting what this year’s nominees should be wearing on the red carpet.

Friday, September 16th

Kelly sits front row at Marchesa’s first-ever runway show at the famed Plaza Hotel. Kelly will be the only person to get an exclusive interview with renowned designers Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig on their favorite celebrity red carpet moments, as the duo has dressed the likes of Sandra Bullock, Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, Blake Lively and Anne Hathaway.  And, in one of the shows most popular segments, find out who Joan will crown “Fash-hole” of Fashion Week?

The following Monday, the foursome will be looking at all the hottest trends on the carpet at TV’s biggest night with “Fashion Police: The 2011 Emmy® Awards,” airing on Monday, September 19th at 10:00pm ET/PT, Joan Rivers hosts a special hour of E!’s Fashion Police highlighting the best and worst looks from the previous night’s Emmy® awards with Kelly Osbourne, Giuliana Rancic, George Kotsiopoulos and special guest Project Runway and Marie Claire editor Nina Garcia.

This special will dissect all your favorite Hollywood stars red carpet looks as they arrive amid a sea of flashbulbs, get honored at the big show and let loose at the after-parties. Joan will “face off” against the fashions from some of the biggest names in television including the casts of Mad Men, The Good Wife, Glee, Modern Family, Boardwalk Empire, 30 Rock, Dexter and more.
