Chord Overstreet May Return To Glee

E! Online exclusively reported that handsome blonde Glee co-star Chord Overstreet (Sam Evans) is reporting back to McKinley High School.   Chord made news previously by during down a recurring role for the current season (Season Three).

When will Chord return?  E! Online reported that Chord may show up as early as episode eight but definitely in time for Sectionals.

Glee wrote Sam out of the popular show by having him leave time with his family who moved out of state.

Last season Sam confessed to the Glee club that his family was having very hard times and the members of Glee pitched in to help.  Supposedly Sam dated Mercedes (Amber Riley) during the summer until his family moved.

According to E! there has been no official confirmation from Fox.

Supposedly the reason Overstreet passed on coming back to Glee for the current season was due to the opportunity to record his own album.

Chord Overstreet With Dianna Agron

Back in July, executive producer Brad Falchuck claimed at Comic-Con that Overstreet turned down an invitation to return for season three. "We did invite him back for a portion of the season, to see if being a regular was a possibility," he explained. "But he declined the offer, which we were really disappointed by.

We wanted him back because we like Chord personally and had some good stories planned for him and with Mercedes (Amber Riley). He decided he would have opportunities elsewhere that he would like to pursue, and we can't force him to work, so we wished him well."

Meanwhile Mercedes seems to have moved on with another guy at McKinley High and recently she left the Glee club to go to the new alternative chorus being formed at the school.

Of course Sam's other ex-girlfriend, Quinn (Dianna Agron) has gone through a lot of changes since they broke up.  Maybe Sam could come back and help her find her way back home.

With Glee anything is possible.
