Celebrate the Holiday season by wowing your friends and family with your best hairstyles.

Consider the following 4 hot holiday hair ideas:

1. Sizzling Long Hot Shimmer

Nothing is more stunning then beautifully finished hair with tones of shimmer and shine.

Combine a side part with hydrated, shine infused hair directed across the head and face to one side.

How To

Direct all newly cleansed 100% dry pre-straightened hair in front of the shoulder.  Form into a faux unsecured side pony.

Curl all of the front pony hair around a 2" hot iron.  Pin the finished curl into a long banana curl to set and cool.  Unpin and brush lightly to form into a long loose curl with fingers.

Finish with a light spritz of shine spray into the palms of your hands.

Swipe across top of the hair for a final sparkle.

2. Loosely Plaited Hairline Accent

If you love the long sexy over-the-shoulder shine infuse curl, but have shorter tresses or want an edgier look, opt for a loose hairline braid which is based from the side part.

Amp up the texture by prepping pre-straightened hair with a dry shampoo or DIY cornstarch mix.

Remove excess shampoo or powder with a brush or fingers.

Use fingers and/or a brush to direct all of the strands in front of the shoulder.

Starting at the base of the side part, plait the front section of hairline hair into a loose 2 strand braid.

Secure the tail of the braid with a hair-friendly elastic which matches the color of the hair.

Tuck the end under the rest of the hair.

For an edgy look, pull a few loose strands out around the finished plait.

Finish with a light spritz of shine spray into the palms of your hands.  Swipe across top of the hair for a final sparkle.

3. Off The Face Back Loop

Instantly create a chic holiday hairstyle with an array of complementary accessories ranging from headbands to clips, combs and bobby pins.

How To

Use fingers or a brush to direct all newly cleansed, 100% dry, pre-straightened hair, towards the back of the head into a faux unsecured pony.

Brush hair up and off the hairline. Glide a thin or medium sized gold or silver hued headband onto the hair.

Position it a few inches from the hairline.

Take a 2-4" section of hair from one side of the head, behind the ear,  and position it two-thirds of the way across the head towards the other side.

Pin the section into place with a decorative hair clip, barrette or other accessory.

If you prefer, use a bobby pin and tuck it under to hide the end of the section under the existing hair.

Use a 1 1/2 to 2" curling iron to add loose waves to the remaining hair.   Finish with a light spritz of shine spray into the palms of your hands.  Swipe across top of the hair for a final sparkle.

4. Double Twisted Strands

This is a simple, but elegant hairstyle, which adds a splash of glam without lots of fuss.  This hairstyle can be easily created on hair which is shoulder length or longer with naturally straight or textured tresses.

If you prefer, you can pre-straighten hair or add curls and waves, depending upon your preference.

How To

Take a small 1 - 2" section of hair from each side of the hairline in front.  Twist each section  clockwise.

Direct it back to the middle of the back of the head.

Secure temporarily with a small hair clip.  Repeat on the opposite side of the hairline.  Match up the two opposite strands and clip together.
