Term: Razored Bob Haircut

Razored bob haircuts are created with a special hair cutting razor which creates a completely different perimeter around a bob haircut. Razor cutting requires special skill and not all stylists are as skilled with a razor as they are with scissors or clippers. While razor cutting can definitely add an edgy to a haircut, it can also leave the ends wispy and thin at times.

When bobs are cut with a razor the layers are embedded into the edges of the style. Razor cuts are excellent for hair which is very thick since it can help to reduce excessive bulk. Razor bobs are not recommended for naturally textured hair such as curl, waves, kinks and coils.

Daily Hair Tip
When towel drying wet hair never rub hair roughly or twist up into a towel. This will potentially damage delicate hair cuticles. Instead carefully blot hair with superabsortant towel and squeeze hair gently to remove moisture.
