Term: Jello Hair Dye

A dye that is homemade by mixing Jello with hot water and then applying to the hair to create a new color or hue. This home haircolor process is extremely messy and usually will not provide much color overall except on very light hair. There is also the danger that when applied to porous bleached hair the jello colors will stain the hair cuticle and be difficult if impossible to remove.

Daily Hair Tip
Know your hair type and be realistic about what hair styles work best with it. Don't agree to a new hair style that you know in your heart will be impossible to duplicate at home.
