Salonclick Launches MiN Retail Hair Care Line: Products treat hair loss yet are color safe.

Introduction

Salonclick is the world pioneer in professional-only men's hair color lines. They are the manufacturer of a revolutionary hair color that covers gray hairs in minutes.

The company recently announced the launch of a new line of hair care products. It was created to further enhance the existing MiN system. Salonclick's new hair care line will help nourish color-treated hair. It is designed to minimize the impact on hair that is thinning.

The line caters to both men's and women's color-treated hair. It features a shampoo, a conditioner, and four styling aids.

It's the first scientifically formulated hair wash on the market to limit the production of DiHydroTestosterone (DHT) in the scalp, yet it is safe for color-treated hair. 

What is DHT?

DHT (dihydrotestosterone), a male hormone, is believed by medical researchers to be one of the significant causes of hair loss in both male and female adults.

Medical researchers have found that men with male pattern baldness generally have increased levels of DHT in the scalp. It is usually believed that this increased level of DHT shortens the hair's regular growth cycle resulting in thinning hair.

DHT is derived from testosterone by a complex chemical process using Type I and Type II 5-alpha reductase isoenzymes.

The Type I enzyme, in particular, is prominent in the scalp and sebaceous glands.

As the hair loss cycle continues (and possibly accelerates), there is typically an increase in the sebum produced by the sebaceous gland attached to the hair follicle.

The increased sebum production is accompanied by an increase in the level of 5-alpha reductase and pore-clogging, which can cause damage to the hair root and scalp.

Blocking the formation of DHT and Reducing DHT level in the scalp is needed to prevent and slow down the rate of hair loss.

Several studies have shown that Azelaic Acid, Zinc Sulfate, and Saw Palmetto Extracts help block the formation of DHT in the scalp.

Highly Effective Ingredients

A mixture of unsaturated plant-derived fatty acids proven to inhibit Type I and Type II 5-alpha reductase isoenzymes.

Provitamin B5 and zinc, highly effective DHT blockers, act synergistically with unsaturated fatty acids. They bind to the sites on the hair follicle where the DHT typically bonds.

Sodium Cq16 Isoalklysuccinyl lactoglobulin sulfonate is a highly specialized surfactant.

It's explicitly designed to penetrate, lift and soluldize sebaceous films from sebum.  The films are generated in the sebaceous gland attached to the root of the hair follicle.

Nonionic and anionic surfactants remove oily and particulate soils.

Vitamin A, E, and C are highly effective antioxidants and free radical scavengers.

Hydrolyzed wheat, oat, and silk proteins and amino acids nourish and structurally fortify the hair.

Glycerin and xantham gum maintain the moisture balance of the hair and scalp, thus preventing flaking.

Aloe vera soothes and relaxes the scalp making hair more manageable
