Penelope Cruz Hair At Golden Globes

Ryan Seacrest got to talk to some of the biggest stars on The Golden Globes.  At one point he was able to chat with the gorgeous Penelope Cruz who almost appeared to be floating down the Red Carpet.  She was truly a vision.

Ryan said hello to Penelope and mentioned she was nominated for Best Actress for her performance in the film 'Vicky Cristina Barcelona'.

Penelope complimented Ryan on his pronunciation of the film which she said "was perfect."  She played the character of Maria Elena which was a very emotional character.

Ryan asked Penelope what it was like to be on the set with Woody Allen?  He asked Penelope to tell the audience what it was like Day One on the set.   Penelope told Ryan "everything is an adventure with Woody" because "Woody doesn't like to rehease" at all.

Penelope explained "I didn't know him (Woody) at all" before she started working on the film.  She "met him for" about "1 minute" when she first arrived in New York to do the film.  Then she didn't see him again at all until the first day of filming and "he was behind the camera".  She said "there was nothing in between from the first meeting until the actual filming" which was a little unnerving.  Definitely an adventure.

Penelope said she was "working with a total stranger (Woody) but I "really loved the experience".  Woody is "so honest and is so interesting".  She pointed out "a lot of what you hear about Woody is not true."  For the role Woody wanted Penelope to be 100% into the role and be very emotional.  Penelope said "she was afraid to take the character to that level" but she is "so grateful she had the opportunity to act in the film and have the character".

Penelope who recently created a major media buzz because she wore her hair in a faux short style at a recent awards ceremony actually wore her tresses very long in a half up/half down.  Her hairstyle had lots of volume and fullness.  She looked beautiful.

Sadly Penelope lost the Golden Globe award to Kate Winslett but she took it with grace and charm, as you would expect from this beautiful International Star.
