Jennifer Aniston Shimmered in Valentino at 2009 Oscars

One of the biggest "secrets" of the 2009 Academy Awards was that Jennifer Aniston would be a presenter.  The buzz that Jen would actually be in the same location with her ex-Brad Pitt and if the media is to believed, her arch enemy Angelina.

It was unclear what category Jennifer would presenting and whether or not she would walk the Red Carpet and thus risk running into Brangelina, as the media refers to them.

One thing was a given, if Jen attended the Oscars, she would be bringing on again-off again love John Mayer.

And the award winning singer would not be wearing the lime green thong Ellen Degeneres showcased John wearing when Jen recently appeared on her show to celebrate her 40th birthday.

When Jen glided down the Red Carpet on the arm of the tall and handsome John Mayer she was resplendent in a silver Valentino gown which fit her perfectly.  The gown was strapless with beautiful detailing which highlighted her spectacular figure.

Jennifer wore her hair long and loose around her face with one accent braid woven through her hairline at the front.

The Valentino gown was completed with Jimmy Choo "Jag" satin sandals.  She accessoried with stunning Fred Leighton jewels.  She co-presesented the Oscars for Best Animated Film and Best Animated Short Film. Wall-E won Best Animated film.

After Jen and Jack Black finished their presenting tasks they both went back into the audience.  It was interesting to see Jen and John sitting together right behind Sean Penn who won the Best Actor award for Milk.  When Sean's name was announced the cameras panned to him and right on Jen sitting behind him looking lovely.
