Miss America 2009 Katie Stam's homecoming event was a wonderful tribute to an outstanding young woman. The week long activities culminated in a spectacular show on Saturday evening that opened up with the video of Katie's crowning moment.

Katie then put the Miss Indiana crown on the head of Megan Meadors. She was chosen to assume Katie's responsibilities as the state's titleholder, now that Katie will serve as Miss America 2009.
