The fate of The Unit on CBS is still uncertain although many believe it will not survive.
The Unit is about a U.S. Army special forces unit which is super top secret. The Unit theme song is a US Marine corps cadence called 'Fired Up, Feels Good'.

As the story goes, the men in The Unit report directly to the President of The United States. Although many love the show and it has a hard core fan base (me included), reports indicate it is expensive to produce and may not make it to another season for Fall of 2009.
I am very sad because I have become attached to all of the characters.
It is hard to say which characters are my absolute favorites because I like all of them so much. However, I love Scott Foley who plays Bob Brown.
In the May 3rd episode he appeared with a Russian contact by the name of Anya. The actress playing the Russian agent was Marika Dominczyk, a sexy brunette who has been married in real life to Scott since 2007.
I have always enjoyed Scott as an actor since his days being married to Alias star, Jennifer Garner. Although Jennifer and Scott divorced and both remarried, I always connect him in my head to Jennifer. Maybe it's because they met on a TV series where Scott was the big star and Jennifer played a much smaller part. Jennifer of course went on to star in Alias and movies while Scott has remained on TV.
Marika Dominczyk was born July 7, 1980 in Poland. When she was three years old she moved with her parents and family from Kielce, Poland to New York City after her parents were expelled from their native Poland for her father's involvement with Amnesty International and the Solidarity movement. She is the younger sister of the actress Dagmara Dominczyk and is fluent in English and her native Polish.
Although the beautiful brunette has been acting since 2000, her roles have been more of a supporting nature. She did appear as Bernadette in the 2005 movie The 40-Year-Old Virgin. She also guest starred on ABC's Brothers & Sisters for eight episodes from 2006-2007.
She also had a recurring role in the short lived TV series Heist as Lola. In 2004 she appeared in The Help as the nanny. Ironically Megan Fox also appeared in that show.
Even though Marika is Polish, she is sometimes mistaken as Hispanic or Italian. Marika recently landed the lead role of Lara in I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell. The film is due to be released in 2009.
