New York City - May 2009 - Recently, ten of the country's top hairdressers, including Barbara Lhotan, Master Stylist for Elie Elie Salon McLean, VA at Tyson Corner Mall and Winchester, VA, gathered in New York City for an "Artist Session" photo shoot with renowned beauty and fashion magazine cover photographer Robert Ligresti.

Lhotan created a gorgeous style that reflects the beauty of naturally curly hair.

"I was so honored to work with such a famous photographer," said Ms. Lhotan. "It gave me the opportunity to create an image that can be seen on a magazine cover or easily worn by a salon guest."

Led by Modern Salon magazine's Beauty director Maggie Mulhern, the shoot brought together her professional team of Ligresti, plus top New York models, makeup artist, nail artists and fashion stylists, who worked as a team to bring Lhotan's creative vision to life. During the two days, the stylist learned nuances from lighting and makeup to wardrobe strategies to help them master the perfect photo shoot.
