Curly Haired Genelle Williams Appears On New SciFi Warehouse 13

Actress Genelle Williams has gorgeous tightly coiled natural curls and ringlets which she showcases in her newest role as Lena on SciFi's new Warehouse 13.

Genelle was born February 18, 1984.  She is a Canadian actress who is famous for her role as deejay Kim Carlisle in the hit Canadian television show Radio Free Roscoe which aired on the Nickelodeon channel.

The show was a hit in Canada from 2002 to 2004.

In 2003, she played Kim Carlisle, a DJ for "Cougar Radio", and love interest of Robert McGrath.

Genelle has appeared in numerous television series including "Degrassi: The Next Generation," "Wild Card," "Soul Food," "This is Wonderland" and "Beautiful People."

Genelle had been preparing to become an actress since she was little, and she studied acting with Dean Armstrong, who played one of the principal characters in Showtime's television series Queer as Folk.

Late in 2004, Nickelodeon's teenager geared channel, The N, began showing Radio Free Roscoe as well as Degrassi: The Next Generation, and Genelle began to gain celebrity status in the United States, at least among the audience that The N targets.

On Degrassi, the naturally curly haired actress played two different characters, in separate episodes and even different seasons.

After taking a break in her career, Genelle appeared in the Family's new show The Latest Buzz as Diane Jeffreys.

For her leading role as Monica in the CTV dramatic movie "Doomstown," written and directed by acclaimed Canadian writer-director Sudz Sutherland, Genelle received a 2007 Gemini nomination for Best Performance in a Lead Role. Additional made-for-television films include "Taking A Chance on Love" and "The Note."
