Deron Williams Fade Hairstyle
Deron Michael Williams (born June 26, 1984 in Parkersburg, West Virginia), nicknamed D-Will, is an American basketball player (point guard) currently playing with the New Jersey Nets of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
Williams has also played for the Utah Jazz of the NBA and Beşiktaş of the Turkish Basketball League. The popular B-Ball player was drafted 3rd overall in the 2005 draft by the Utah Jazz, for whom he played before being traded in the middle of his sixth season to the Nets.
He is a two-time All-Star and a gold medal winner at the 2008 Summer Olympics.
The Deron Williams Fade
The 27 year old Williams isn't just known for his basketball chops. He's almost as famous for his hairstyle known as The Deron Williams Fade.
Even though he left Salt Lake City and the Utah Jazz he's remembered almost as much for his hairstyle as he is for his court moves.
Williams forced his move to the New Jersey Nets by refusing to sign a contract extension with Utah. Then he stunned the basketball world by signing with a Turkish team, Besiktas.
New town, new season and new haircut. With his move to New Jersey, Deron has modified his Utah style fade. Maybe because all the old fans in Utah are still rocking The Deron Williams Fade.
Or maybe he was just bored with his famous haircut, which he famously had before every game.
Deron's Hairstyle Still Wildly Popular In Utah
Ironically, even though Deron is playing for a competitor, barber shops from Salt Lake City and surrounding areas are reporting an increase in the demand for his fade hairstyle.
In Utah The Deron Williams Fade is even more popular than the George Clooney hair cut, which is a type of Caesar and the Justin Bieber shag.
A Caesar + A Fade + 360 Waves
Deron has let his hair grow longer on top since he left Utah and went to the New Jersey Nets.
By letting his length grow out on top Deron's natural hair texture is more pronounced and his hair appears styled with a hint of 360 waves along the top (see to the side).
360 Waves
In traditional waves, hair is cropped short to the head in the styling of a Caesar Haircut. Then, the hair is brushed forward on the sides, front, and down to the neck in the back. This technique creates the resemblance of water waves in the hair.
Deron's Caesar Hair Cut
The shape of the cut is very much like a Caesar, but it's fades along the sides and along the back. The Caesar cut is a men's hairstyle which is always in fashion. It's very popular with a wide ranges of ages and ethnicities.
The Caesar cut is a short cut with a horizontal cut fringe which hugs the top of the hairline. The hair is usually layered to around 2-5 cm (1-2 inches) all over the head.
The cut is named after Julius Caesar, whose images frequently depict him wearing his hair in such a manner. Over the years several male celebrities including George Clooney have been famous for rocking the famous haircut. Please follow us on Twitter at: https://Twitter.com/HairBoutique.
