Public & Private Funerals For Michael Jackson on Tuesday July 7th

Although the details have not been released, the word is leaking out regarding both of Michael Jackson's funerals - private and public - which will be happening on Tuesday, July 7th in Los Angeles, California.

As previously announced a public funeral is being held at the Staples Center for Michael in Los Angeles.  Details regarding Michael's public funeral are rumored to be available later today (July 3rd).

The public funeral is free to anyone who wishes to attend but all are warned that mobs of attendees are expected and entry will only be available on a first come/first serve basis.

Michael Jackson camp insiders are now saying that Michael will also have a private funeral which will be held before the public funeral at the Staples Center.  

Family and close friends will be invited to attend the private funeral ceremony to remember Michael.  Any information on the private funeral has not been released either.

It is speculated that information on the private funeral will be kept as quiet as possible to prevent massive crowds from showing up.

Michael's public funeral is expected in some circles to be a major production.  Grammy's producer Ken Ehrlich has been asked to produce the Jackson memorial at the Staples Center although he has told the media it will not be an extravagant tribute concert but will include "some types of performances" honoring Michael and his contributions to the music industry over the years.  He said about the public funeral "it will be a memorial service reflecting the dignity of what the family wants. It will be a fitting memorial to Michael Jackson - no dance numbers."
