If you have ever watched an episode of MTV's The Hills you know that until very recently the main star of the show was Lauren Conrad also known as L.C.
If you watch the show or know LC you also are aware of the fact the blonde California girl rocks beautiful blonde hair.

She also was filmed on a regular basis at the Warren Tricomi Salon in Los Angeles getting her SoCal blonde tuned up or her long hair styled.
Who is the hair color guru behind Lauren's incredible beach blonde hue? Kaz Amor is LC's Mane Color Man (as well as the owner of Warren Tricomi in LA) and spilled some of his color tricks to BehindTheChair.com.
Kaz is known for his creation of soft, natural lifestyle colors.
Kaz reported that Lauren hair color is a Level 6 and the target color is a Level 7. He utilized Redken for a three pronged effect. He adds or smudges color into her natural base, he paints on sophisticated but very back-from-the-beach baby blonde highlights and he pulls it all together at the end with a glaze.

For the balayage or free hand highlighting Kaz uses Redken Blonde Icing + 40 Volume Developer. For the base "smudging" he uses Redken Blonding Gels Gold Series. He finishes with a Redken Shades EQ09GB to seal in the base and highlights and give hair color staying power and radiant shine.
Would you have ever suspected LC has such a sophisticated hair color regime? Of course you should never try to duplicate LC's hair color at home. Kaz is a very talented hair color professional who understands LC's hair color base and prominent hues.
