Although CW's Melrose Place didn't catch on fire as the network had hoped, the new show is definitely helping to blow up the career of blonde beauty Katie Cassidy who plays the resident schemer.

Katie combined a very tight, very short black dress with a sweetheart style back which meant completely open from her shoulders to her waist except for one well-place strap. The front of her little black dress had a plunging V neck. The focal points of her dress were her puffed cap sleeves and stand up color.
In other words, the tiny little black dress showcased all of Katie's other assets including her gorgeous back, long legs, beautiful arms and tiny waist.
In some respects Katie could have walked down the Red Carpet in a spray painted dress and would have shown the same physical gifts. She set off the dress with high black peep toe shoes which showcased her ankle tat.
Meanwhile with so much skin, Katie when really glam and really big with her beach blonde hair. Swept off her face all along the hairline Katie had a traditional big barrel updo. It was a piece of hair art which you rarely see but Katie wore it with amazing grace and incredible glamour. It was a great look for the event and she totally pulled it off.
Of course that was not all Katie's hair coiffed into that updo. Her natural hair falls somewhere between chin and shoulder length and appears to be fine to medium with some slight texture such as waves of very loose curls.
Either the updo was a hairpiece carefully coiffed into the updo and incorporated onto her head with the hair headband part of Katie's hair or a long ponytail extension or clip-in was added at the crown and then woven into the big barrels.
Regardless of the methods utilized. Katie looks stunning.
