Hairstyles Of Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian is famous for being chatty on Twitter.  She has been known to post pictures of herself in all her hairstyle  variations and evolutions.  Such was the case last June when she showcased a photo of herself with a new short pixie haircut.  In the photo with Kim was her new Hollywood hairdresser, Ken Paves.

Ironically the hairdresser is the longtime hairdresser of Jessica and Ashlee Simpson.  Kim made news some years ago when she was spotted on dates with Jessica's ex, Nick Lachey, right after the couple divorced.  Apparently Kim's stepping out with Jessica didn't case any problems since Kim and Jessica are friendly.

After showcasing her short hairstyle in the photo with Ken the dark hared beauty blogged that the short stylish pixie hairstyle she posted on Twitter was a wig.   Kim blogged "I did a spread for Oprah's O magazine," she continued "this shoot was the first time I worked with famed hair stylist Ken Paves. He completely transformed my hair! Check it out! We used a wig!"

Although it may have been Kim's first time with Ken Paves, it was not her first time wearing a wig.  The beauty had actually played with blonde wigs even before the short pixie wig in order to test out new hair hues.   She was spotted in New York with a lighter hue.  "I'm LOVING my blonde hair!" Kim blogged.

It wasn't until the next day Kim revealed her newly blonde hair was a prank.  "It's a wig! Did I have you fooled?" Kim wrote. "I did a fabulous photo shoot this weekend and they put this hair piece on! I haven't taken it off since, because I'm really loving the look. I've been wearing it around New York and everyone thought it was my real hair!"

Going blonde would have been a huge transition for the raven haired reality star.  Wearing blonde wigs first was definitely a smart move.

Kim eventually went with the real lighter hair hue when she went honey blonde, for real.  Of course she posted about it Twitter and blogged about her hair journey.  In fact, Kim often blogs about her hair and beauty journeys which makes for great reading.

Eventually Kim went back to her trademark raven brunette strands but she did look amazing as a blonde.

Ultimately Kim seems to always return to her trademark hairstyle which is long, lush, shiny raven black, wave enhanced tresses which suit her personality, beauty and sultry image.  Although Kim has experimented with shorter pixies, bobs and other hairstyles through the miracle of wigs and hair extensions, ultimately, at least in my opinion, I think she should stick with the long lush locks which make her looks fabulous.

Of course this is jut my opinion.  What do you think?

Professional hairstylists often use a "rat" to create a full French twist or updo. A rat is a special form used to wrap hair around.
