One of Fox TV's hottest new Fall 2009 shows, "Glee" ended with a smashing finale which left me with goosebumps all over my body. The show stopping performances by Rachel (Lea Michele) as a lead in the Glee's Club's New Directions was beyond spectacular.

There were so many heart warming moments throughout the fast paced finale that it was almost hard to keep up.
Unlike some season finales, the show nicely wrapped up a lot of the various plot lines without too much soapiness or sap. Cheerios Coach Sue Sylvest is magnificently foiled in her attempts to take down the Glee Club. Principle Figgins finally showed some backbone and puts the scheming Sue on probation.
After winning the desired sectionals trophy and overcoming a long list of challenges, the Glee club showed their love and appreciation for Glee club director Mr. Schuster aka Mr. Shu with a special performance. The song was a rendition of the Kelly Clarkson hit song. Yes, I had more goosebumps.
Down and out unwed mom-to-be, Quinn is finally outed for her deception over the identity of her baby daddy. No, it's not Finn as she made everyone believe, it's Puck. Even though Puck tells Quinn he wants to be with her and help her raise the baby, she decides to bravely continue on her journey alone. The Finn, Quinn, Puck subplot actually was a wonderful way to show the developing maturity of the formerly shallow Quinn. It was well-done.
Of course Finn and Puck had the requisite fistfights and Finn quit Glee club in anger. However, when the chips were done, Finn raced to his team's aide and helped them win the competition. Eve was amazing as a competitive coach who realized the error of her cheating ways but only after the judges made their final decision.
More love triangles were resolved. Creepy Coach Ken finally dumped the sweet red-haired Emma who has been secretly longing for Mr. Shu all season. She postponed her wedding to Coach Ken in order to escort the New Directions team to sectiona;s since Will (Mr. Shu) had been suspended due to sleeping on a gift mattress. Shu ultimately decided to leave his crazy-as-a-bedbug wife who unsuccessfully faked a pregnancy to hold onto her distracted husband.
Shu and Emma are the only two guests at her cancelled wedding but alls well that ends well when Shu decides his heart really wants Emma. He runs to her just as she is preparing to leave the school for good. Of course this is a definite heart string pulling moment.
Of course we can't forget Rachel's (Lea Michele) various subplots. She generously gives the spotlight to Mercedes after a season of conflict. They seal the deal with a big hug. Mercedes wows the Glee Club with a stunning rendition of "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going." Ultimately Rachel saves the day with a spectacular performance of Barbra Streisand's "Don't Rain on My Parade,"from "Funny Girl." She pulls it off and Barbra needs to watch her back.
Rachel "marches her band out," with her fellow Glee club members, and they follow up her stunning opener with "You Can't Always Get What You Want." More goosebumps.
Finally the show ends with Will Shu and Emma sharing their very first kiss.
To say the finale was spectacular is an understatement. If you didn't catch it in real time, be sure and catch up with it online.
