Looking sassy but lovely in a long sleeved, short little black (LBD) dress with a V neck with her wavy honey blonde strands tumbling down around her shoulders from a center part, Julia Roberts appeared on stage and said "huhhhh, alright, lets wrap this up. And just let me say first, because we have so much time."
Julia made up for the short gown by wearing a jeweled statement long gold necklace, exotic jewels and a matching clutch. She rocked very high gold-plated pumps.
Although the gorgeous Julia was nominated for Best Actress in a Motion Picture, Comedy or Musical for her performance in "Duplicity", but lost out to Meryl Streep for her role in "Julie & Julia". I have to admit that while I love Julia, I was not a fan of "Duplicity" and though she has been better in other roles. But what do I know?
Julia was really fun when she presented the last Golden Globe award. She said "If you want attention, sit next to Paul McCartney. I never had so many texts in my life." The cameras panned to Paul who smiled and threw up his index finger to Julia.
She continued "OK, sooooo. I'm here to give the final award of the evening. Best Motion Picture, Drama. Throughout the show we've seen clips from these five wonderful films and lets take one more look at the nominees. "Avatar", "The Hurt Locker", "Inglourious Basterds", "Precious", "Up In The Air".
The Golden Globe goes to "Hold on people. Finn, Hazel (her kids) go to bed and "Avatar."
James Cameron, writer, producer and director accepted the award but brought the case and everyone involved with the film up on the stage.
