Holly Hunter On SAG Red Carpet Shares What Drew Her To Role On Saving Grace

Holly Hunter was interviewed on the Red Carpet at the 2010 SAG Awards for which she was nominated.

She looked sexy chic in a long sleeveless black Alberta Ferretti gown.  Her blonde hair was swept up into a tousled French Twist with a knot at the crowns combined with sleek sides bordered by a sassy side-swept fringe which showcased her blonde highlights.  Her hair twist was topped off with a splay of hair.

Peter Castro of People Magazine introduced Holly Hunter by saying "Holly Hunter portrays a no-nonsense detective on the hit TNT show "Saving Grace" she's up tonight for Outstanding Performance by a Lead Actor in a Drama Series.  This is one tough cookie, what first drew you to that role?"

Holly "Well I think the fact she's such a three dimensional character.  So complicated.  And so filled with confidence and you know, insecurities that I was really completely attracted to her."

Peter "We're all insecure my dear.  Holly didn't respond but gave a laugh.

Peter "Now you've also had a distinguished career in films.  Was it difficult making the transition to episodic television?"

Holly "Well episodic is a creature unto itself and for me I've learned a tremendous amount in the three years that I've been doing "Saving Grace" really from the producing end of it.  But also the speed with which you work and how unrelenting the schedule is."

Peter "Well we wish you luck tonight."

Sadly Holly did not win for her portrayal of Grace but I was rooting for her.  She is amazing in the role.
