TNT Saving Grace Rips Your Heart Out

Did my title get your attention?  It should but the reality is that TNT's Saving Grace is one of the most powerful and moving shows on television at this time.  Notice how I didn't just say cable TV?

Yep, that was on purpose because  Saving Grace kills all the competition on both cable and traditional TV.

I have watched Saving Grace since the very first episode. Over the past two seasons I agonized with her when her beloved American Bulldog, Gus, was lost and embraced her pain over the failing health of her grandfather.

I admired her deep commitment to her best friend and completely understood how she comforted a co-worked when his cat died.

There have been so many episodes where I was literally sitting on the edge of my chair biting my fingernails and trying not to watch but being afraid to miss an entire second.  There is no other way to say it. Saving Grace on TNT  is a masterpiece.

Saving Grace is about Grace Anadarko who opens her heart and soul for all of us to live vicariously though her life as she explores joy, pain, anger, rage, lust, sadness and sorrow.

Holly Hunter as Grace Anadarko will take your breath away.  She will break your heart, evoke tears and make you want to reach through the screen and give her a big hug.  Make no mistake, Holly Hunter is Grace Anadarko.

Everything about Saving Grace is fantastic from the producing, directing and writing to the acting by the incredible cast.

Luckily for all of us the next Season of Saving Grace on TNT will resume on March 2, 2009.  Set your schedule or your Tivo now and make sure you don't miss a single minute of this compelling series.
