Banishing Bad Hair Days since 1997!™

Rihanna's New Guy Has Violent Past

It's been nearly a year since Rihanna was brutally assaulted by her then-boyfriend Chris Brown. Star Magazine exclusively revealed charges of abuse by the ex-girlfriend of the beautiful singer's new man.

Rihanna and Los Angeles Dodgers star Matt Kemp didn't skimp on affection, indulging in PDA all over Cabo San Lucas during their Mexican vacation a few weeks ago.

A Star investigation has revealed Matt has been accused of having anger management issues - including violence toward women!

Star reported that in June 2008, actress Felisha Terrell filed a restraining order against the 6'4", 220-lb. ballplayer whom she had been living with accusing him of threatening, intimidating and stalking her. In the papers, the one-time Days of Our Lives star stated: “He is violent and I am afraid.”

Rihanna's friends have expressed concern over her new relationship.  One of RiRi's friends told Star “You’d think after what she went through with Chris, Rihanna would be extra careful about learning the background of any man she gets close to,”

The friend also said “It’s almost as if she has a dark side of her own an attraction to bad boys.”

Rihanna's new guy who is said to just be a good friend, was placed in the media spotlight when the restraining order placed against him in 2008 surfaced this week.

The restraining order was requested by ex-girlfriend Felicia Terrell, who claimed to have feared for her life after their breakup.  The restraining order was later dropped.

Matt Kemp Responds To Violence Allegations

In a statement released through his rep, Kemp disputes claims that he has been violent or has violent tendencies.

The statement stated "Matt dated Felisha about two years ago and decided to end their relationship. She chose to file a complaint and shortly thereafter, on her own accord, decided to drop it based on the fact that the statements made within were false," says the rep.

The release also said "She has very recently said that she has no issue whatsoever with Matt and that she and Matt consider this to be a nonissue. Matt Kemp is a consummate Midwestern gentleman who has never displayed any act of violence towards a woman."

Rihanna has not commented publicly on the matter, which has drawn criticism from some fans who fear for the entertainer who endured a beating at the hands of her then boyfriend Chris Brown.
