Jason Mesnick, 33, the "most hated Bachelor" in ABC's Bachelor TV history announced in October of 2009 that he and bachelorette Molly Malaney were engaged.
Jason sealed the deal with a dazzling Neil Lane ring. It was unclear if Jason popped for the ring himself or ABC did. Regardless of who paid the bill, the ring was stunning.

Many fans and members of the media wondered if the engagement was just a ploy for "Bachelor" damage control since so many fans and viewers turned on Jason when he dumped Melissa Rycroft, his original choice, for runner-up, Molly.
Yes, it was definitely the most shocking "After The Final Rose" broadcast in ABC's "Bachelor" history pulling down huge ratings. In interviews following Jason's "After The Final Rose" reunion with Molly, the couple reported on various talk shows they were shocked by the hostile reaction of many of the viewers and fans.
Whether the engagement, which happened in New Zealand, (site of original Final Rose Ceremony took place) was real or just a reality show ploy, it took a new twist over the weekend.
It has been confirmed that Molly and Jason were married on Saturday, February 27th in Rancho Palos Verdes, California, at 3:00 PM.
"This is the happiest day of our lives," newlyweds Jason and Molly gushed to OK! Magazine of their long-awaited nuptials, despite a bit of rain.
The first Bachelor in Bachelor history to make it to the alter was wed in front of 300 guests overlooking the ocean.
Present at the wedding was Bachelorette Jillian Harris, who had originally competed with Melissa and Molly for Jason's heart, and Jillian's finance Ed Swiderski from the recent Bachelorette season.

Also present were Trista (Rehn) and Ryan Sutter, my own personal favorite Bachelorette couple. Jason's son Ty was present at the ceremony. Melissa Rycroft, who recently wed in November of 2009 was not mentioned as a guest at the ceremony.
Molly who is 25, wore Monique Lhuillier as did her bridesmaids. They all wore open-toe Manolo Blahnik shoes to tie their bridal ensembles together. Jason wore a Kenneth Cole tuxedo with very dapper suits donned by the groomsmen.
Molly's sister Katie served as Maid of Honor, while her uncle presided over the nuptials.
Molly was walked down the aisle by her father Michael to the tunes of Jason Castro, as white doves were released at the end of the romantic ceremony.

If you're a fan of Jason and/or Molly, or just want to see the wedding ABC will throw for their first Bachelor who weds a Bachelorette, the two-hour event special "The Bachelor: Jason and Molly's Wedding", airs Monday, March 8, from 8:00-10:00 p.m. ET/PT on the ABC Television Network.
ABC is hoping it will be a ratings whopper. If Jason's wedding is anything like Trista and Ryan's wedding, it will definitely pull down some big numbers.
Congratulations and best wishes to Jason and Molly on their recent nuptials.
