For those not in the know, Melissa Rycroft was the Bachelorette selected by Bachelor Jason Mesnick and proposed to in the reality TV show The Bachelor. After proposing to Melissa the Bachelor proceeded to dump her on national TV in favor of the runner-up, Molly Malaney. Fans were outraged and Jason has since won the title of "most hated man in America".
Jesse knows a thing or two about getting dumped publicly. Although he was successfully engaged to former Bachelorette DeAnna Pappas, who dumped Jason Mesnick to select him, Jesse eventually got dumped by DeAnna.
Although it was initially reported that Jesse was devastated by Deanna's decision to break their engagement, he has moved on and is actually happily dating a bachelorette from the Matt Grant season of the Bachelor show. Jesse who is very good friends with Jesse offered the newly dumped Melissa some words of advice.
Jesse told EW.com "I'm a big fan of taking the high road and never really saying anything bad about anybody." Jesse advised Melissa ' to keep her chin high and know...that it's all right." Still, Jesse is declining to take any sides due to his friendship with Jason.
The snowboarder confessed "I gave Jason a call [Monday night], just left him a voicemail. I'm sure he's getting hundreds," he says. "You go on that show to fall in love. [So] as long as he's in love is what matters. On every single one of those shows, somebody always gets their heart broken. And it's kind of casualties of love -- love hurts. So it's a bummer Melissa's heart got broken. But at the same time I'm really happy for Jason and Molly and Ty."
Meanwhile Jesse is busy trying to help locate the missing rare snowboard from the murdered snowboarder and waiting to see where his new love will take him in the future.
