Melissa Rycroft Dazzles When She Dances

While it's true that Bachelorette Melissa Rycroft was dumped on ABC last week by Bachelor Jason Mesnick, she may come out the winner afterall.  Rumors from very reliable sources have indicated Melissa will replace front runner Nancy O'Dell on tomorrow night's premiere show of Dancing With The Stars.

Although Nancy was a fan favorite, her body could not hold up to the rigourous dance practices and she had removed herself from the competition.    Nancy had to leave the competition due to a torn meniscus in her knee.

Melissa who was a Dallass Cowboy Cheerleader for two years, which requires rigorous training and dancing, also has a background in dance.  She was trained in ballet for many years which made her a natural as a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders.  Although ABC has not officially confirmed the addition of Melissa, insiders believe its a done deal and she has been rumored to already be dancing with pro Tony Dovolani in make-up practice sessions.

Actually, ABC would be very wise to give Melissa a shot at the top rated ABC reality dancing show.  Melissa was considered "America's Sweetheart" on The Bachelor.  Giving her a shot to be on Dancing With The Stars would do a lot of alleviate the anger that has been felt by so many of The Bachelor fans.

It also shows that while being on ABC's The Bachelor can led to public humiliation, it can also lead to other career opportunities such as being the next Bachelorette for Jillian Harris and DTWS for Melissa.  In a sense, Molly may have won the heart of Jason - which we will see how long that lasts - but Jillian and Melissa have actually advanced their careers in different ways on ABC.

Congratulations to Melissa.  Lets hope she wins.  She deserves all the best life can give.
