On Saturday, Caressa was interviewed for some morning hits during Good Morning America, live at Independence Hall with Mayor Nutter, Ben Franklin and Martha Washington. The interviews aired during weather segments hosted by GMA forecaster, Marisol Castro.
Later that day Caressa and Mayor Nutter celebrated the 140th anniversary of Philadelphias China town with a very special cake for all to enjoy. Caressa also met Chinatown local council members and had the honor of awakening the eyes of one of their new lions.
On Independence Day, Caressa sang the National Anthem and America the Beautiful with the Keystone State Boychoir to kickoff the Freedom Ceremony at Independence Hall. She did a lovely job, and the members of the Boychoir complemented her nicely!

Caressa kicked off the Wawa Welcome America! Concert, where she wowed the crowd with her performance of the National Anthem!
Afterwards, she was interviewed backstage by Philadelphia's ABC affiliate.
