In 2010, Joico is giving its all to increase Breast Cancer Awareness at a grassroots level.
To encourage Joico salons and stylists to increase their involvement in the fight against breast cancer, Joico has established a Breast Cancer Awareness Salon Advisory Board, the members of which are key figures in Joico salons nationwide. Now the board has created a "Virtual Toolkit" to give salons the resources they need to launch a campaign of their own.

Set to go live July 15, 2010, at www.joico.com, the toolkit will offer tips, strategies and resources for boosting local awareness and planning fund raising activities, including everything from cut-a-thons to silent auctions and dedicated in-salon events. The site will also provide media and communications resources and suggestions for promoting events and obtaining donations.
"This is a cause that hits close to home with women everywhere and many salons have expressed a strong interest in getting involved, but simply didn't know how," says Joico Education Development Manager Tom deVries. "This virtual toolkit gives them the practical tools and guidance that they need to bring their ideas to life."
