Giuliana Rancic, Kelly Osbourne and George Kotsiopoulous provided their list of the five stars to watch on the 2011 Academy Awards Red Carpets. On the list was 43-year-old nominated actress Nicole Kidman. The Aussie is up for Best Actress for her role in Rabbit Hole!
Nicole didn't disappoint. She was absolutely gorgeous in a stunning white strapless Dior gown accented with a rare 19th century diamond Riviere necklace from Fred Leighton. She showcased her elegant height with Pierre Hardy shoes.
She wore her trademark strawberry blonde naturally curly hair in a sleek ponytail with a hint of soft waves interwoven throughout the length. Her hair was pulled off her face in order to show off her stunning gown and jewels. She had just a hint of fringe directed to one side of her face and a pouf at the crown.
The beautiful actress was asked if attending the Oscars was easier because she "already had one Oscar at home." Nicole said "um, I don't know, I think it's just beautiful to be nominated. Particularly over the span of a career."
She continued "You know, to have the chance to come and celebrate like this. And having been in this industry for awhile now, I know most of the people here. Which is also really a lovely thing. But I've never been nominated while I've been married to Keith. So this is a first for us."
When the couple, who held hands during the entire interview were asked who gets to pick the music they listen to in the car riding over, and what type of music do they listen to, Keith said "we pretty much have the same taste in music." Nicole said "but he teaches me."
Did they want revved up music on the ride over? Nicole said "no, we were mellow (on the way to the Oscars). We were revved up last night."
Nicole said she "likes her gown" because she liked "the structure of it and it's actually quite comfortable" even though it might not look like it "but it is."
