Speaking of scripts. VH1's Reality TV Series has caught a lot of heat for being scripted. The reality show follows the lives of four women from Staten Island, New York, who are all from well-known mob backgrounds and may have mob connected husbands in jail.

The Mob Wives include Renee Graziano, daughter of Anthony 'The Little Guy' Graziano, boss of the Bonanno crime family, Karen Gravano, daughter of Sammy 'Bull' Gravano, the mobster who took down John Gotti and the Gambino crime family, Drita D'avanzo whose husband Lee is doing time for bank robbery and drug charges. It also includes Carla Facciola whose husband is doing time for stock fraud.
Renee Graziano is considered by many to be the toughest of the group but Karen Gravano, 38 recently returned to Staten Island after living with her father in the witness protection program for many years so she comes from a different perspective.
Carla Facciola thought she had left the life by marrying a stock broker who eventually want to prison for a boiler room scandal. Carla is a stay at home mom but makes a point of really taking care of her hair, how she dresses and her make-up. Lucky for the writers of the series Carla does have gorgeous long dark brunette hair which can be pulled to enhance any cat fights.
The four wives held a lunch to “calmly talk about their issues” but it soon exploded into screaming, hair pulling and grappling on Sunday night’s show.
“You wanna get up in my f***ing face,” shrieked Facciolo as Graziano squared up to her. Facciolo then pushed Graziano in the face, which led to a tussle on the floor.
“I never imagined that I would have a screaming, hair-pulling match over a guy,” said Graziano after the fight was over and the women had made friends again.
If you don't mind that the show is said to be scripted and are fascinated with the mob lifestyle this show may be for you. If nothing else every one of the four wives has noteworthy long hair. Is it real or extended? Only their hairdressers know for sure.
