Shania Twain's Beachy Wave Hair Style

Singer Shania Twain is moving on with her life.  Having survived the shocking discovery of her husband's affair with her former best friend, a messy divorce and the ultimate loss of her voice, she has risen triumphant.

Not only has she written a best selling book about her personal tragedies, she is starring in a reality TV show on the new Oprah network (OWN) and recently received a star on Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The beautiful star remarried recently and is putting her life back together.  On her recent tour to promote her book she rocked loose beachy style waves which cascaded down past her shoulders.

On one side a loose sweep of hair hugged her forehead extending down past her eye.

Her milk chocolate brown base was highlighted with hues of lighter caramel and low lighted with hazelnut.  Her hair had lots of volume built into the top and through the roots.

How To Copy Shania's Hairstyle

1.  Copy Shania's hairstyle by cleansing in lukewarm water with products designed for your hair type, texture, condition and length.  2.  Apply a rinse out conditioner to your tresses from the ears down to the ends.

3.  Use your fingers or a smooth wide tooth comb and detangle from the ends to the roots.

4.  Towel blot and then apply a leave-in styling cocktail including a leave-in conditioner, defrisant and mousse or styling cream.

5.  Separate hair into 6-8 horizontal sections.

6.  Use a round 100% boar bristle brush combined with a blow dryer and dry each section of hair individually.

7.  Once hair is completely dry separate again into 1 1/2 to 2" sections.  Curl each section with a 1 1/2" curling iron.

8.  After each section is dry re-roll with ringers and pin to scalp to cool and set.

9.  Unpin each section, shake lightly and tousle with fingers.

10.  Finish with a spritz of shine enhancing spray or 1-2 drops of shine serum massaged int the palms of your hands and smoothed over the top of the finished style.
