Shania Twain's Hair Transition

Country superstar Shania Twain has gone through a series of major personal transitions since May 15, 2008 when a spokesperson for Mercury Nashville announced that Twain and her husband of nearly 15 years were separating.

During the past three years Shania has also gone through a hair transition ditching her big country hair for a much softer, tousled hairstyle which fits with her current life journey.  Shania whose base hair color is a dark chocolate truffle highlighted with ribbons of pecan and caramel which are interspersed throughout her edges.

Twain's Personal Transition

Twain's best friend and confidante Marie-Anne Thiebaud had a secret affair with Twain's husband, Mutt Lange.  After their divorce was finalized on June 9, 2010 Twain became close friends with the ex-husband of Marie-Anne Thiebaud.   Ultimately the two, who had not been acquainted beforehand, fell in love and married on January 1, 2011 in Rincón, Puerto Rico.

Shania has publicly confessed that all the emotional trauma of her divorce as well as dealing with memories of her early life have resulted in her losing her singing voice.

Although she's promised she will eventually sing again, at the present time she's filming a reality show on Oprah's new OWN network as well as promoting her new book "From This Moment On" on various TV shows including Ellen and Today.

Shania Twain's Ideal Face Measurements

In a 2009 study to determine what measurable parameters create "beauty", scientists correlated a set of measures for the positions of various facial features in women with ratings of attractiveness. According to the study, beauty is a product of having as many features as close to the average measurement for each feature as possible.

Twain was noted in a BBC News article concerning the study due to the fact that her face is a close approximation to the ideal measurements found by the study.

Twain's Hairstylist

The superstar's long-time stylist is Frankie Foye.   Foye has previously reported Shania's hair color as "sun bleached" which requires regular trims to remove frayed edges.  Foye does an amazing job on Shania's long hair, which appears to have natural bend and texture.

Foye has previously told the media she used Hair Rules Aloe Grapefruit Purifying Shampoo to clean Shania's hair and remove product build-up following up with Hair Rules Quench Conditioner to add hydration and moisture.

Juno Awards - March 2011

Although Twain has recently been wearing her tresses cascading down past her shoulders in loose tousled waves, she changes up her hairstyle by sweeping her strands up into sassy ponytails and updos.

When the 45 year old arrived at the Juno Awards 2011 in March 27 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada to be inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame she looked super glam in a Zuhair Murad gown with polished mid-back ponytail.

Her flirty hairstyle was highlighted with a soft fringe slightly parted in the middle.  Her polished pony cascaded from a mid-head bump and her tail had a slight curl along the edges.

In keeping with her major life changes over the past few years her hairstyle has kept pace and now reflects the softer side of the beautiful singing star.
