Frances Bean Cobain born August 18, 1992 is considered to be rock royalty due to the fact she is the daughter of the beloved late Kurt Cobain and the sometimes troubled Courtney Love.
Frances Bean has had her own challenges with her mother and has often displayed a fierce independence from her rock roots in some respects.
However, she hasn't totally distanced herself from the careers of her parents. In 2008 Frances worked at the iconic Rolling Stone magazine as an intern.
In July 2010, Cobain debuted a collection of artwork titled "Scumfuck" under the pseudonym "Fiddle Tim" at the La Luz de Jesus Gallery in Los Angeles
Cobain appeared as a guest vocalist on the song "My Space" from the album Evelyn Evelyn by Evelyn Evelyn, which was released 30 March 2010.
Amanda Palmer from Evelyn Evelyn clarified that Cobain was one of some 20 artists who sang the same line and whose voices were mixed together in the recording.
Now the almost 19 year old budding artist and performer is making news in an array of black and white images shot by photographer Hedi Slimane for the hedislimane.com website
In the photos Frances showcases dark brunette hair which is in direct contrast to her mother's signature platinum blonde locks.
The young Cobain shows a peek into her orientation by wearing goth inspired accessories, an array of tats and chic tattered clothing.
